VIVO has officially launched S1, its latest S Series smartphone in India. It is global variant with slightly different specs than original Vivo S1.
The smartphone measures 159.53 x 75.23 x 8.13 mm and has weight of 179 grams. It has 2.5D curved back with nano-ion coating that gives different shades of colors when light reflects off it.
The VIVO S1 features in 6.38-inch Super AMOLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution and 90% screen-to-body ratio. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast unlocking.
Inside are Dual SIM slots with Dual 4G VoLTE. It has octa-core MediaTek Helio P65 (MT6768) SoC with ARM Mali-G52 GPU. The smartphone comes in options of 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM and 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB storage space. MicroSD card slot allows further expansion up to 256GB.
The Vivo S1 specs include 16MP (Sony IMX499 sensor, F/1.78) + 8MP (120-degree ultra-wide, F/2.2) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) triple camera setup at the back along with LED Flash. For selfies, there is a 32MP front shooter with F/2.0 Aperture.
It includes 4500 mAh (typical) battery and supports fast charging as well. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, GPS/GLONASS, MicroUSB V2.0, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.

The VIVO S1 comes in Diamond Black and Skyline Blue colors. It will go on sale in India from August 8th. You can buy it at both online and offline channels.
