Xiaomi has announced a new smartwatch called Mi Watch Color Sports Edition. It is successor to Mi Watch Color which was unveiled earlier this year.
The Xiaomi Mi Watch Color Sports Edition come in 46mm size and has dimensions of 45.9 x 53.35 x 11.8 mm with 32.5 grams weight. It has Xiao Voice assistant for accessibility. It has array of sensors like acceleration, geomagnetic, gyroscope and ambient light.
The smartwatch also comes with 5ATM rating and can survive in water at 50 meter depths. It has 117 sports mode (17 professional and 100 extended sports mode) to cater needs of fitness enthusiasts.. It comes with Heart rate sensor for tracking heart beats and can check SpO2 Blood Oxygen levels.
The Mi Watch Color Sports Edition features in 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolution and comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Xiaomi is offering 120 different watch faces. There is support for sleep tracking as well.
Company has also included a dedicated 12nm GPS chip which supports GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/Beidou positioning. There is NFC for making payments. The smartwatch also houses 420mAh battery which gives about 16 days of typical usage, about 22 days in long battery life or 50 hours with continuous GPS usage.
The Mi Watch Color Sports Edition price is 699 Yuan (US$ 105 / Rs. 7,680 approx.) (initial offer price of 699 Yuan) and comes in Black, Space Blue and Ivory colors. It comes with matching TPU case however, you can also buy straps in Yellow, Green and Red colors. It will go on sale in China from October 21st.
