Xiaomi’s Mijia or Mi Ecosystem has taken wraps off its new smartwatch called Watch Color. As the name suggests, it comes in several strap options.
The Xiaomi Watch color measures 46.2 x 53.3 x 11.4 mm and comes with 5ATM water resistant rating (up to 50 meters). The smartwatch is compatible with most Android 4.4 or above and iOS devices.
It has Xiaoai voice assistant. There is a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with 454 x 454 pixels resolution. It has Bluetooth V5.0 support for easily connecting with smartphones.
The Mijia Watch Color features in heart rate sensor for measuring heart beats. It has several other sensors including Acceleration, geomagnetic, gyroscope, ambient light and barometric sensors.
The smartwatch comes with several fitness tracking features including 10 different sports modes. Sleep tracking is also supported. You also get NFC for secured payments and GPS/GLONASS for location / route tracking.
A 420mAh battery powers the hardware. It is claimed to offer up to 14 days of battery life.
The Xiaomi / Mijia Watch Color price is 799 Yuan (US$ 115 / Rs. 8,200 approx.) and comes in Silver, Gold and Black colors. There are several strap options available as well. The smartwatch is already available in China.
