Amazon has launched its latest Kindle E-Reader with entry-level specs. It has measurements of 160 x 115 x 9.1 mm and weighs 161 grams. It has all-new design that is thinner and lighter.
It has 6-Inch glare free touch screen with 16-level grey scale and 800 x 600 pixels resolution. It has 167 ppi pixel density and makes use of Amazon’s E-Ink Pearl display technology.
The all-new Amazon Kindle E-reader features 4GB internal storage space that stores thousands of e-books. It also comes with free cloud storage for all Amazon content. The battery inside fully charges up in about 4 hours (using USB cable) and a single charge battery lasts up to 4 weeks (30 mins reading per day with wireless off).
It supports public / private Wi-Fi networks and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n standards. It also supports most of content formats like Kindle Format 8 (AZW3), Kindle (AZM), TXT, PDF, MOBI, PRC, HTML, DOC, DOCx, JPEG, GIF, PNG, BMP etc. It has Bluetooth audio support for blind readers in some countries. It also allows users to email yourself notes and highlights in PDF and spreadsheet format.
The Amazon’s All-New Kindle E-reader is priced at US$ 79.99 and comes in White and Black colours. It is up for pre-order at Amazon.com and will start shipping from July 7, 2016.
