Apple has just unveiled its latest seventh Generation iPad at its event. It comes with 10.2-inch Retina display and supports Apple Pencil. For the first time, it also supports full-size smart keyboard.
Its 10.2-inch Retinal display has nearly 3.5 million pixels and wide viewing angles, making it perfect for immersive Augmented Reality (AR) experience.
Under the hood is a powerful A10 Fusion Chip, which Apple claims to offer twice the performance when compared with top-selling Windows PC. It not only offers powerful multi-tasking but also offers smooth gameplay in Apple Arcade.
The new 7th Generation Apple iPad weighs about a pound and features an enclosure made from 100% recycled aluminum. It offers ultra-fast wireless performance along with Gigabit-class LTE connectivity.
It has Touch ID for secure and fast unlocking. The tablet runs on iPad OS which houses intuitive features catered to iPad. It has redesigned home screen and allows one to add Today View, Quick Access widgets and much more. The iPad OS offers Split View and allows easy switching between multiple apps using Slide Over.
The new iPad 7th Generation comes in Silver, Space Gray and Gold finishing. It has 32GB and 128GB storage configurations and are available in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular models. The iPad 7th Gen price starts at US$ 329 for Wi-Fi model and US$ 459 for Wi-Fi+Cellular variant. The new iPad will be available for order starting today and will land in stores starting September 30th (Monday).
