ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced its new mechanical gaming keyboard called Strix Scope. It is constructed with Cherry MX RGB Switches for precise mechanical feel which is much need for gamers and enthusiasts.

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope comes with eye-catching lighting and feature per-key ASUS Aura RGB LEDs, plus an illuminated ROG logo. Moreover, it is compatible with Aura Sync ecosystem.

The keyboard comes with built-in memory which can store up to six custom illumination profiles and can be configured to change according to he applications. Users can configure custom layout and lighting effects as per their choice.

The ROG Strix Scope features in an extra-wide Ctrl key, which is crucial for FPS games now a days. It is basically 2X wider than traditional Ctrl key while the Windows key has been shortened.

The all-black layout of the Strix Scope can be punctuated by four silver-colored caps for the vital WASD key group. These alternative caps create a contrast from rest of the keys. There is a special keycap-puller tool for easy removal and customization of most used keys.

The keyboard’s F12 key  has an additional function, doubling for stealth. It hides all the running apps and mutes all audio for instant privacy or peace. The F5-F12 keys come with front sided illuminations and houses special quick toggle switch to flip between function and media controls.

The ROG Strix Scope packs in Armoury II, an enhanced driver-based software which offers extensive controls while using less resources. It has an intuitive AI which allows easy tuning of keyboard, create profiles, customize color or lighting effects. It is even possible to track hardware stats during game play for data analysis.

ASUS ROG Strix Scope photo -2The keyboard has dimensions of 440 x 137 x 39 mm and weighs 1070 grams with cable. It has 1.8 meter braided fiber cable with USB 2.0 connection and supports Windows 7 / Windows 10. It has all programmable macro keys with on-the-fly recording support.

The Key switches have Cherry MX RGB in Red, Brown, Blue, Black, Speed Silver and Silent Red colors. Depending on the color their actuation force ranges from 45g to 60g while its distance to Actuation point is from 2.0mm to 2.2mm depending on color.  it has N-Kye rollover for AntiGhosting and 1000Hz Polling Rate.

They ASUS ROG Strix Scope is immediately available from the ASUS Store and leading retailers. It is worth mentioning that Strix Scope was previously revealed as Strix CTRL during CES 2019. This product-development codename was subsequently changed and finalized as Strix Scope.
