The Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom (ZE553KL) is now available in US markets. It was first unveiled at CES 2017 which was held earlier in January.
Asus wanted to postpone the phone launch and upgrade its specifications. Apparently, company took a U-turn and released the phone in USA.
The ZenFone 3 Zoom (ZE553KL) specs include 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display with 401ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 GPU.
It has 3GB / 4GB RAM with 32GB / 64GB storage. It has 13MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture, 1/3-inch sensor and 1.12 µm pixel size. On the back is dual camera setup, consisting of 12MP (F/1.7 Aperture, 1/2.5″ Sensor size, 1.4µm pixel size, Laser AF, PDAF) and 12MP (F/2.8 Aperture).
The phone has TriTech+ optimizations that selects one of the three auto focus methods – Dual Pixel, Continuous AF and Laser. It promises to capture image in just 0.03 seconds. The handset is powered by 5000 mAh non-removable battery.
The Zenfone 3 Zoom price was initially set at $399 however, it is now available starting at $329 for 3GB RAM / 32GB storage model. The 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM variant is selling for $453 though.
