Asus has finally announced its latest phone at CES 2017 called Zenfone AR (ZS571KL). It supports Tango AR platform and Google’s Daydream VR Platform.
The cellphone measures 148.57 x 77.7 x 4.6 ~ 8.95 mm and weighs about 170 grams. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Zen UI 3.0.
It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Micro + Nano / MicroSD) and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE (Voice over LTE). It has fingerprint sensor embedded on home button.
Asus has also included built-in Mono 5 magnet speakers, supports NXP Smart AMP Technology, ASUS SonicMaster 3.0 and DTS Headphone (X fo vistual 7.1 surround sound Hi-Res audio at 192kHz / 24-bit standard).
The Asus Zenfone AR Specs include 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and delivers over 100% NTSC. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection as well.
Under the hood is a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 821 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes in 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4 RAM options.
The mobile has 32GB / 64GB / 128GB / 256GB (UFS2.0) storage variants and allows further expansion using MicroSD cards as well.
The Zenfone AR Features 8MP front camera, equipped with F/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide viewing angles. On the back side is 23MP main snapper with Sony IMX318 sensor, F/2.0 Aperture, 6P Largan Lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, Laser AF, dual-tone LED Flash and 4K video recording capabilities.
The hardware inside this smartphone is fueled by 3300 mAH battery, which supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 as well. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2×2 MIMO, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, USB Type-C and GPS.
The Asus Zenfone AR (ZS571KL) comes in charcoal black color option with leather finish. It will be available in second quarter of 2017. Pricing details were not revealed.
