BlackBerry’s upcoming smartphone, the DTEK60 has smiled for press shots (leaked). It is may by Alcatel and is successor to DTEK50. Aesthetically speaking, the handset looks the same as Alcatel IDOL 4S.
Unlike the IDOL 4S, the BlackBerry DTEK60 comes with upgraded specifications. It is said to be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB RAM. The smartphone is also expected have an upgraded 21MP primary camera on the back and 8MP selfie shooter on the front. It will run on Android OS with BlackBerry’s own skin and will house a USB Type-C port as well.
The smartphone will have a 5.5-Inch display with QHD resolution. It will have 32GB of built-in storage ROM and will allow further expansion as well using MicroSD card. It is also expected to include a 3000mAh battery.
The Blackberry DTEK60 has also been certified by FCC. It has revealed to models of the phone – BBA100-1 and BBA100-2. Maybe, it is Single SIM and Dual SIM variants or a GSM / CDMA models.
The BlackBerry DTEK60 price is expected to be around CAD 699 (about US$ 530). It will be released on October 11, 2016.
