Southwest Technology Solutions Ltd has announced that it has started rolling out Cat S60 smartphone in UK. It is World’s first smartphone featuring an Integrated Thermal camera.
The smartphone is waterproof and can easily sustain at depths of 5 meter* for 60 minutes. Moreover, it can also take pictures and videos under water. It is MIL Spec 810 rated and is drop proof from up to 1.8 Meters.
The Cat S60 Specs include 4.7-Inch super bright display that gives 540 nits brightness and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It supports multi-touch (finger and globe as well) and has Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protections for scratch resistance.
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 617 processor with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage ROM. It is an Android 6.0 Marshmallow running smartphone, powered by 3800 mAh battery. It is loud enough to give high quality audio experience (>105dB). The mobile supports 4G LTE connectivity along with usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
The Cat S60 Features a 13MP main camera on the back with Dual Flash. It also has a dedicated FLIR thermal camera app and makes use of MSX technology. It can capture still image, panorama and videos. Moreover, it also takes heat palettes, temperature spot meter, min / max temperature etc. On the front is 5MP front facing camera.
The Cat S60 is priced at GBP 529.99 in UK and can be take on mobile contract on EE, Vodafone, O2 or Gamma Mobile Networks.
