Coolpad expands its ‘Mega Series’ offering with its latest budget smartphone in India called Mega 5A. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box.
The handset packs in 5.45-inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support.
It has dedicated dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. Inside is a 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum SC850K processor with Mali-400 GPU. The SoC is paired with 2GB RAM.
The Coolpad Mega 5A specs include 16GB internal storage space and MicroSD card support for further expansion up to 64GB. It has 2500 mAh battery that powers the hardware. A fingerprint sensor is placed at the back.
In terms of camera, there is a 5MP front facing camera and 8MP + 0.3MP dual rear shooters with LED Flash. Usual connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack is supported.
The Coolpad Mega 5A price in India is set at Rs. 6999 and comes in Bolden color. It will be available exclusively at offline stores from August 16th in 8 states (Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnatak, Telangana, Haryana and Delhi NCR).
