Gionee expands its M Series lineup with the launch of Gionee M12 smartphone. Company has introduced the handset in Nigeria.
It comes with 6.55-inch punch-hole display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and boasts 91% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Android 10 OS out of the box.
The Gionee M12 comes in two models. One has 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio A25 processor with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage space and MicroSD card slot for further expansion up to 256GB. Other variant sports 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor with 128GB storage space and MicroSD card slot for expansion up to 256GB.

The Gionee M12 specs include 5100mAh battery with 10W fast charging. The mobile sports a 4.4mm punch hole which houses 16MP selfie camera. At the back side are quad cameras with LED flash. These include 48MP (main, GMM1 sensor, F/1.79, 6P lens) + 5MP (115-degree wide angle, F/2.2, 4P lens) + 2MP + 2MP shooters.
Connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2 and GPS is supported.
The Gionee M12 with Helio A22 is priced at NGN 75,000 ($195 approx.) while M12 with Helio P22 costs NGN 85,000 ($223 approx.). It comes in Magic Green and Dazzling black colors. [source]
