Google could announce PIXEL 2 on October 4

Most of the phone enthusiasts are aware that Google is working on PIXEL successor. Now, we have a possible launch date.

A Google Billboard has been spotted at Boston saying “Ask More of your phone.“. It also reveals October 4 date, which coincides with last year’s Pixel launch date.

The Billboard doe not reveal that the launch is of PIXEL 2 or / and PIXEL XL 2 phones. But there is a strong possibility considering the phrase.

According to the speculation, the PIXEL 2 will be similar to its previous generation phone. The PIXEL XL 2 is expected to have slim bezels. The former is said to be manufactured by HTC while the latter is expected to be LG made.

They are also rumored to feature in Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU. The Google PIXEL XL 2 was already spotted at GFXBench back in June, revealing some of its specs.

The benchmark revealed 5.6-inch display (2560 x 1312 pixels), 4GB RAM and 128GB storage space.
