Google could launched Pixel and Pixel XL Nexus 2016 phones on Oct 4

Google Nexus brand has been alive for quite sometime now. It is known for fast stock Android OS updates. It is 2016 and Google is all set to unveil 2016 Nexus smartphones called Pixel and Pixel XL.

A small catch here though. Google is speculated to leave its Nexus branding with its upcoming smartphones, according to reports published at Android Police. The Pixel and Pixel XL are said to be the same smartphones, previously rumoured as Sailfish and Marlin.

Google has already launched Pixel C Android Tablet last year. Both the above mention smartphones are manufactured by HTC however, an anonymous source revealed that Google plans to market Pixel and Pixel XL as “First smartphones built by Google”.

Apart from the phones, Search Engine giant is also working on Chromecast with 4K capabilities. It could be called Chromecast Plust or Chromecast Ultra. Company is also expected to reveal Daydream VR that could be called at DayDreamView.

Google is expected to announce Pixel, Pixel XL, 4K Chromecast and Daydream VR on October 4th.
