Google has officially announced its latest pixel smartphone called Pixel 4a. It runs on vanilla Android 10 OS and is upgradable to Android 11 in future.
It has dimensions of 144 x 69.4 x 8.2 mm and weighs 143 grams. It has Dual SIM support which consists of Single Nano Slot and eSIM slot. It has fingerprint sensor at the back and sports a poly carbonate body with matte finishing.
The Google Pixel 4a specs include 5.81-inch OLED display which offers 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution at 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen also supports 443ppi pixel density, supports HDR and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood is octa-core Snapdragon 73G mobile platform with Adreno 618 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB UFS 2.1 storage space. There is a built-in Titan M Security chip for added protection.
Google Pixel 4A smartphone comes with 12MP rear camera with LED Flash, F/1.7 Aperture, supports Dual PD Auto focus, OIS, EIS and up to 4K recording at 30fps. It has an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.0 Aperture and 84-degree ultra-wide angle lens.
It has 3140mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. It has stereo speakers, dual microphone and supports 3.5mm audio jack. There is support for 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), 2×2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.1 LE, USB Type-C (gen1) and GPS.
The Google Pixel 4A price is $349 (Rs. 26,250 approx.) and is up for pre-order in United States. It will go on sale from August 20th. The handset will also land in India some time in October and will be available at Flipkart.
There will be a Google Pixel 4a 5G variant which will cost $499 (Rs. 37,530 approx.). It will be available in fall in United States, UK, Canada, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan and Australia.
