HONOR has finally announced its latest HONOR 50 smartphone. It is powered by Android 11 with Magic UI 4.2 on top.
The HONOR 50 is a dual SIM mobile supporting 5G (SA/NSA) and Dual 4G VoLTE. It has dimensions of 159.96 x 73.76 x 7.78 mm and weighs 175 grams.
The cell phone sports a 6.57-inch curved OLED display offering 2340 x 1080 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate and delivers DCI-P3 wide color gamut.
Powering inside is octa-core Snapdragon 778G mobile platform with Adreno 642L GPU. The HONOR 50 has options of 8GB RAM with 128GB / 25GB storage space and 12GB RAM with 256GB built-in storage.
The handset comes with 32MP front camera with F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side are quad cameras consisting of 108MP (main, F/1.9) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.4) + 2MP (depth, F/2.4) + 2MP (macro, F/2.4) shooters and LED Flash.
The HONOR 50 feature a 4300mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge fast charging. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth V5.2, USB Type-C (type-C audio support) and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou.
The HONOR 50 8GB/128GB model is priced at 2699 Yuan ($422) while its 8GB/256GB model costs 2999 yuan ($468). The top end 12GB/256GB variant price is set at 3399 Yuan ($531). The handset is up for pre-order in China and will go on sale from June 25th.
