Honor has officially unveiled two new laptops in China called Honor MagicBook 14 2021 Ryzen Edition and Honor MagicBook 15 2021 Ryzen Edition.
As the name suggests, both of these are powered by AMD Ryzen 5000 Series processors. The MagicBook 14 2021 has options of Ryzen 5 5500U processor and Ryzen 7 5700 processor. The MagicBook 15 2021 comes with Ryzen 5 5500U processor inside.
The MagicBook 14 (2021) and MagicBook 15 (2021) both come with 14-inch and 15.6-inch IPS matte displays respectively. Their screens have TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker free certifications. Their screens offer 1920 x 1080 pixels FHD resolution at 16:9 aspect ratio, 157ppi pixel density, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300nits brightness, 100% sRGB color gamut and 84% screen-to-body ratio.
Both of these notebooks have 16GB DDR4 Dual Channel RAM and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD Storage space. These run on Windows 10 Home and are compatible with Windows 11 upgrade in future.
The MagicBook 14 / 15 (2021 Ryzen Editions) have fingerprint sensor, Hall Sensor and NFC support. These come with 1MP 720p web camera for handling video conferences. These also feature 56Wh battery which fully charges in about 2.5 hours (65% in 1 hour) thanks to its 65W USB-C adapter.
The HONOR MagicBook 14 2021 Ryzen model has dimensions of 322.5 x 214.8 x 15.9 mm and weighs about 1.38 Kg. The MagicBook 15 2021 Ryzen variant has measurements of 357.8 x 229.9 x 16.9 mm and weighs slightly higher at 1.54 Kg.
Both of these have support for Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth V5.1, HDMI, USB 3.2 Gen, USB 2.0 and USB Type-C.
