Huawei’s Honor brand has announced a new notebook called MagicBook Pro 2020. The unveiling took place at its Honor Smart Life event.
The laptop comes with all-metal aluminum alloy body. It has 16.1-inch display which offers 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and delivers 100% sRGB color gamut. It has 4.9mm narrow bezels resulting into 90% screen-to-body ratio.
The new Honor MagicBook Pro (2020) is 16.9mm thick and weighs about 1.7 Kg. Depending on the model, you can get it with 10th Generation Intel Core i5-10210U or 10th Gen Intel Core i7-10510U processor.
The graphics will be handled by Intel UHD graphics or NVIDIA GeForce MX350 GPU (2GB DDR5). It has 16GB DDR4 RAM (2666Mhz) and 512GB SSD storage.
The MagicBook Pro laptop houses 56Wh battery which offers about 11.5 hours of video playback. The laptop boots on Windows 10 Home and houses 1MP HD web-camera (with dual digital-mic) for video conference.
In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz) 2 x 2 MIMO, Bluetooth V5.0 and 3.5mm audio/mic combo jack. Dolby Atmos is supported for enhanced audio.
The Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 Corei-i5 variant price is 5999 Yuan (US$ 843 / Rs. 64,030 approx.) while its Core-i7 model costs slightly higher at 6699 Yuan (US$ 941 / Rs. 71,500 approx.). It will go on order today and will start selling in China from May 19th.
