Huawei‘s Honor brand has announced its latest mobile in China called the Honor Note 8. The phablet boasts 6.6-Inch AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 pixels Quad HD resolution. It has 443ppi pixel density, 16.7M color depth and supports multi-touch as well. A finger print sensor sits on the back.
The phone specifications wont disappoint you, as it packs in (2.5GHz Cortex A72 x 4 + 1.8GHz Cortex A53 x 4) octa-core Kirin 955 processor with Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. Huawei has managed to include 4GB RAM in this one. It has 32GB / 64GB / 128GB storage variants (23.4GB / 52.31GB / 110GB user available).
The hybrid dual nano SIM slots supports 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+ networks and allows further storage expansion up to 128GB as well. The 2nd slot is limited to 2G only though. The Honor Note 8 Specs include 8MP front shooter that takes quality selfies. On the back is a 13MP CMOS camera unit with LED flash, Auto Focus, Optical Image Stabilization, 4X digital zoom and records 1080p videos.
The phone measures in at 178.8 x 90.9 x 7.18 mm and weighs 219 grams. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EMUI 4.1 on top. It has a decent 4500 mAh Li-Po battery as well that fuels the hardware. In terms of connectivity, it features Wi-Fi 80 2.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, USB 2.0 Type-C, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Honor Note 8 price starts at 2299 Yuan ($345) for 32GB model. The 64GB variant has price-tag of 2499 Yuan ($375) and the high storage 128GB version is priced upwards at 2799 Yuan ($420). The smartphone is up for pre-order and will go on sale from August 9, 2016. Details on global release were not revealed.
