Huawei’s Honor brand has announced its latest tablet called Honor Pad 2. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with Emotion UI 4.1.
This Android Tablet packs in 8-Inch IPS display with 1920 x 1200 pixels resolution, 16:10 aspect ratio and supports multi-touch. It has Octa-Core (1.5GHz x 4 + 1.2GHz x 4) Snapdragon 616 MSM8939 processor with Adreno 405 GPu.
The tablet has 3GB RAM and 16GB / 32GB internal storage options. It allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card. The Honor Pad 2 specs include 2MP front camera and 8MP rear snapper with F/2.0 Aperture, Auto Focus and LED Flash. It is powered by 4800 mAh battery.
The Tablet supports 4G LTE and allows voice calling as well. Other connectivity features include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4/1, GPS/GLONASS etc.
The Honor Pad 2 is priced at 999 Yuan (US$ 148) for 3GB RAM / 16GB storage / Wi-Fi only variant. The 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM / Wi-Fi Tablet is priced at 1299 Yuan (US$ 192). The 4GB LTE model with 3GB RAM / 32GB Storage ROM is priced higher at 1499 Yuan (US$ 222). It comes in White and Gold color options.
