HONOR has officially launched its new tablet in India called HONOR Pad 8. It comes in Wi-Fi only option and has two RAM variants.
Notably, the tablet was introduced in China back in July.
HONOR Pad 8 specs and features
The tablet boasts a 12-inch IPS display with multi-touch support. It offers 2000 x 1200 pixels 2K resolution, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 350nits (typ) brightness, 195ppi pixel density and 1.07-billion colors. The Pad 8 boasts an 87% screen-to-body ratio and sports TUV Rheinland hardware-level low blue light certification.
The Honor Pad 8 feature in octa-core Snapdragon 680 mobile platform with Adreno 610 GPU. It has 4GB / 6GB RAM options in India and is offered with 128GB built-in storage space. The tablet runs on Android 12 with Magic UI 6.1 on to.
The tablet measures 278.54 x 174.06 x 6.9 mm (7.2mm narrow border at left / right) and weighs 520 grams (including battery). It has a 7250mAh (typical) / 7150mAh (minimum) battery and allows 22.5W fast charging. It is said to charge 100% in just about 126 minutes. Statistically, it is expected to deliver up to 22 hours of local video playback or 59 days of standby.
The Honor Pad 8 specs include 5MP front facing camera for selfies and video calling. At the back side is a 5MP shooter as well. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1 and USB Type-C (with OTG).
For optimized audio, HONOR has included 8 stereo speaker system (4-trebble + 4-bass) consisting of 8.8cc sound chamber, Honor Histen sound and DTS:X Ultra.

The Honor Pad 8 comes in Single Blue Hour color option. It will go on sale at Flipkart from September 23rd.
