HP ProBook X360 11 G1 Education Edition announced

HP has announced its latest rugged convertible tablet called ProBook x360 11 G1 Education Edition. As the name suggest, the notebook is aimed at students.
The Laptop features a unique “Take a Test” application that recreates a test environment. It will make browser based area where access to copy/paste options or any other files will be restricted.
It also comes with “Set up School PC’s” that allows one to easily setup devices in three easy steps. The Notebook also boasts top notch build quality. It is covered with Industrial rubber casing and offers option to customize with Gorilla Glass 4 strengthened panel.
Moreover, it also passes MIL-STD 810G grading. It’s keyboard is spill-resistant (to an extent) and comes with 360-degree hinge that allows create / access content in notebook mode, stand mode, tent mode or tablet mode.
The ProBook x360 11 G1 Education Edition specs include 11.6-Inch SVA eDP LED anti-glare display that offers resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
It is available with Intel Celeron N3350 processor (1.1 GHz, up to 2.4 GHz, 2 MB cache, 2 cores) with Intel HD Graphics 500 GPU OR Intel Pentium N4200 (1.1 GHz, up to 2.5 GHz, 2 MB cache, 4 cores) processor with HD Graphics 505 GPU.
Inside is 8GB DDR3L (1600MHz) SDRAM and offers storage options of 64GB eMMC SSD, 128GB up to 256GB SSD. MicroSD card slot for further expansion is also there. It comes with Windows 10 OS (options for Home / Pro).
The laptop measures 8.19 x 11.91 x 0.78 inches and weighs about 1.45kg for the touch variant. It has 720p front camera and has options for 1080p snapper as well in select models.
The ProBook x360 11 G1 Education Edition is powered by 3-cell 41Wh Li-Ion battery that offers up to 11 hours of usage. It also houses 2 USB 3.1 Gen1 , 1 USB Type-C (data transfer only), 1 HDMI 1.4, AC power connector, 1 RAj-45 port and headphone/microphone combo jack. It also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/n/ac (2×2) and Bluetooth V4.2.
The ProBook x360 11 G1 Education Edition Price starts at US$ 329 and will be available from December 16th.
