HTC has just announced its latest smartphone at IFA 2016 called the One A9s as rumoured earlier. It has uni-body metal design and packs in a Fingerprint sensor on home button.
The phone measures 146.49 x 71.5 x 7.99 mm and weighs 149.8 grams. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with HTC Sense UI.
The HTC One A9s specs include 5-Inch Super LCD Display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. It has Corning Gorilla glass protection and supports multi-touch as well.
Under the hood is an octa-core (2GHz x 4 + 1GHz x 4) MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 processor with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU clocked at 700 MHz. It comes in 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB Storage options. MicroSD cards up to 2TB are supported as well.
The One A9s features 5MP front camera for selfies. It has F/2.8 aperture, 1.12μm pixel size and records 1080p videos as well. On the back sits a 13MP primary camera with BSI Sensor, F/2.2 Aperture, LED flash, Auto Fcous and 1080p video recording.
It has two microphones for noise cancellation and includes HTC BoomSound for optimum audio. The hardware is powered by 2300 mAh battery. The smartphone also supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC etc.
The HTC One A9s comes in Silver, Gold and Black colour options. Pricing and availability details are not known yet.
