Huawei has unveiled its latest User Interface called EMUI 9.0. It is based on lasted Android 9.0 Pie OS. It has Nature UX design, a natural immersive design with minimilistic styling.
The Huawei’s EMUI 9.0 offers easy, ergonomic one-hand operation in contacts, albums etc. It has GPU Turbo 2.0 which offers smoother performance during Graphics intensive apps and games.
The UI also includes Password vault which helps with App logins. It stores username and passwords securely and can be accessed using fingerprint sensor or facial recognition when signing in.
Number of settings have been cut down to 843 from 940 seen in EMUI 8.0. Supported operators have been increased from 90 to 147 while the number API’s also gets an increase from 22API to 33API (which identified scene).
The Huawei EMUI 9.0 also brings in new swiping gesture (on home screen). It calls up navigation panel for going into selected applications or settings. There are several audio enhancements as well.
Huawei claims that EMUI has 350 million daily active users across 216 countries. Upcoming phone, the Huawei Mate 20 is said to come with EMUI 9.0. The handset will be unveiled in London on October 16th. Other Huawei phones like Mate 10 Pro, Mate 10, P20 Pro, P20, Honor View 10, Honor 10 and Honor Play are expected to get the EMUI 9.0 update.
