Huawei will official announce Mate 9 smartphone at an event on November 3rd. It is expected to have premium hardware.
Ahead of its official launch, Specifications of Huawei Mate 9 have surfaced at Weibo. There are already talks that phone will have three variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 128GB ROM and the premium model with 6GB RAM + 256GB storage.
The specifications we have are for the premium variant. According to the leaked spec sheet, the smartphone is expected with 5.9-inc display, sporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and multi-touch support.
The phone is expected to feature in recently announced Octa-Core Kirin 960 Processor with Mali-G71 GPU. The premium variant will have 6GB of RAM and 256GB Storage (mentioned earlier and is at par with the rumors).
The Huawei Mate 9 alleged specs also include dual camera setup on the back, consisting of 20MP + 12MP. Just under the camera will be a finger print sensor for added security. Moreover, the mobile will be powered by Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.
The Mate 9 premium version is expected to carry price-tag of US$ 705. Official details will be available on November 3rd, once the phone launches.
