Huawei has officially introduced its latest tablet called MatePad Pro 12.6″. The tablet easily pairs with mouse and keyboard to give a PC like experience.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6″ measures 286.5 x 184.7 x 6.7 mm and weighs 609 grams. It is powered by HarmonyOS 2 out of the box. The tablet houses 8 speakers with Huawei Histen 7.0 sound and comes with quad-microphones.
The tablet sports a 12.6-inch WQXGA OLED display with 2.5D curved glass and offers 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution at 16:10 aspect ratio. Its screen delivers DCI-P3 wide color gamut, 1000000:1 contrast ratio and offers 16.7M colors.
Huawei has also introduced its new M-Pencil 2nd Generation with transparent tip design. It has hexagonal round shape and platinum-coated nib and offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. It has 9ms low latency and allows tip writing. The new M-Pencil 2nd Gen easily attaches itself to tablet magnetically and supports wireless charging. Battery life is rated at 10 hours.
The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6″ feature octa-core Kirin 9000E processor inside with ARM Mali-G78 MP22 GPU and Big+Tiny core NPUs. It is paired with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and is offered in 128GB / 25GB storage options. The tab does support NM card up to 256GB for further storage expansion.
For optics, it has 8MP front camera with F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side are 13MP (main, F/1.8, PDAF) + 8MP (ultra-wide, F/2.4) + 3D depth sensing cameras . The hardware is juiced up by a huge 10050mAh battery capacity. Its battery has support for 40W Huawei SuperCharge fast charging, 27W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.
The MatePad Pro 12.6-inch has support for 5G / 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.2 LE, USB type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo/Qzss.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.6 inch colour options include Matte Gray and Matte finishing and Olive Green with Vegan leather finishing. The tablet is already up for order in China and will go on sale from June 10th. This tablet was announced along side Huawei Watch 3 Series.
