Huawei has announced a refreshed MateBook D (2018) lineup. It has the same design but comes with upgraded hardware.
The Notebook now comes with new CPU and Graphic Card options. The MateBook D (2018) base variant with model MRC-W10 and MRC-W50 offers eight Generation Intel Core i5-8250U processor that has base clock frequency of 1.6GHz (Single / Dual / Quad core at 3.4GHz).
The MRC-W60 has a slightly premium offering, sporting eight Generation Intel Core i7-8550U Processor with Base Frequency of 1.8GHz (Single / Dual / Quad-Core at 3.7GHz).
The MateBook D MRC-W10 comes with Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 support. The MRC-W50 / 60 features in Dual Graphics support, which includes integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 and discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX150 GPU.
They come with up to 8GB of RAM and depending on the model, includes 256GB SSD or 1TB HDD or 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD. Other specifications are more or less the same.
They include a 15.6-inch IPS non-touch matte screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 142ppi pixel density. The laptop also supports IEE 802.11ac 2X2 MIMO, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1 etc.
They come with 1MP front camera, Gravity and Hall sensor and powered by 43.3Wh (3800 mAh @ 11.4V) battery. The notebook comes pre-installed with Windows 10 OS.
The Core i5 variant with 256GB SSD corsts 5188 Yuan (US$ 837 approx.), the Core i5 with 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD is priced at 5488 Yuan (US$ 837 approx.) and the Core i7 carries price-tag of 6688 Yuan (US$ 1020 approx.)
