The handset bears model number CAG-L22 and has surfaced in several leaks. Starting with the GeekBench listing, the Huawei Y3 2018 packs in an entry-level MediaTek MT6737 SoC. It is a quad-core 64-bit chipset with Mali-T720 GPU.
The handset comes with modest 1GB RAM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box. The handset managed to score 437 points on single core and 1077 points on multi-core.
Thanks to Slashleaks, schematics and other specification details have also surfaced. At the right edge, it has volume rockers and power buttons. There is a single rear camera which is expected considering the entry-level nature of the device.
Other specs that source revealed are, a 5-inch display 854 x 480 pixels resolution. The Huawei Y3 2018 Edition is also expected with 2200 mAh battery capacity.
