Intex expands its budget 4G phone offering with the launch of Cloud String HD smartphone. It has mirror-glass fingerprint sensor on the back that allows quick access to applications and click selfies.
The phone has sleek design with premium looking back cover and is equipped with Dual SIM slots (micro + mini) that supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. The mobile measures 144.5 x 72.5 x 8.7 mm and weighs 150 grams.
The Cloud String HD specs include 5-Inch On-Cell 2.5D curved glass display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. It has 294ppi pixel density and supports 5-point multi-touch. Under the hood is 1.3GHz Quad Core Spreadtrum SC9832A processor with Mali-400 GPU.
The mobile phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and houses 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage along with MicroSD card for further expansion up to 32GB. It has 2200 mAh removable battery inside that gives 7 hours of 2G talk time and 198 hours of standby.
The handset also comes equipped with 5MP front camera and has 8MP primary snapper on the back as well. Main camera features include Samsung S5K3H5 Sensor, 1.4um pixel size, F/2.2 Aperture, Auto Focus, LED flash and 720p video recording.
It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.0, GPS, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc. It also houses Proximity Sensor, G-Sensor and Light Sensor.
The Intex Cloud String HD is priced at US$ 83 (available at Rs. 5,599 on Flipkart). It comes in White and Black colour options.
