We already know that LeEco and Coolpad are working together on a new smartphone called the Cool1 dual. Now the smartphone has been officially announced.
The Cool1 dual is first Android Smartphone under Cool series. It packs in dual nano SIM slots and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE (voice over LTE). It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS with EUI 5.6 on top. It has uni-body metal design and houses fingerprint sensor on the back side.
The phone specs include 5.5-Inch IPS in-cell display with 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution. The screen gives 450nits brightness, 72% NTSC color gamut and supports multi-touch as well.
The mobile is powered by (1.8GHz Cortex A72 x 4 + 1.2GHz Cortex A53 x 4) Octa Core Snapdragon 652 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes in 3GB / 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 32GB / 64GB eMMC 5.1 internal storage space. Sadly, there is no MicroSD Card slot.
The Cool1 dual Features 13MP dual rear cameras with dual-tone LED flash, F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF, supports 720p slow motion (at 120Fps) and 4K video recording. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera with F/2.2 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens.
The smartphone is fueled by 4060 mAh battery and supports fast charging as well. In terms of connectivity, it has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1, USB Type-C, GPS etc. In terms of dimensions, it measures 152 x 74.8 x 8.2 mm and weighs 167 grams.
The Cool1 dual price starts at 1099 Yuan (US$ 166) for 3GB RAM / 32GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM / 32GB Storage model is priced at 1499 Yuan (US$ 229) while the 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage version is priced higher at 1699 Yuan (US$ 256). The phone can be ordered from Jd.com, Lemall and Coolpad website. It will go on sale from August 24, 2016.
