Lenovo K8 Plus with dual rear cameras launched in India

Lenovo has officially launched K8 Plus, its latest dual camera smartphone in India. It has uni-body metal design and sports fingerprint sensor at the back.

The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India.

The mobile phone measures 147.9 x 73.7 x 8.99 mm and weighs 165 grams. It has dedicated hardware key for play / pause music and is customizable to launch specific application. It also supports Dolby Atmos for optimum audio experience.

The Lenovo K8 Plus specs include 5.2-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution. The screen delivers 450 nits brightness, comes with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Talking about Internals, it has 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor coupled with Mali-T880 GPU. It comes in 3GB / 4GB RAM options and 32GB internal storage space. It also allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.

The hardware is supported by 4000 mAh built-in battery. It is said to offer up to 2 days of battery life. On the camera front, it has 8MP selfie camera with LED flash, F/2.0 Aperture and 84-degree wide angle lens. On the back side is Dual cameras with dual-tone LED Flash. It consists of 13MP (F/2.0 Aperture, 5P Largan lens) and 5MP secondary shooter.

Connectivity wise, the smartphone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, GPS, USB OTG, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.

The Lenovo K8 Plus price starts at Rs. 10,999 for 3GB RAM variant (with Variety of launch offers). It comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold colors. You can buy K8 Plus online exclusively at Flipkart from September 7th. The 4GB RAM model will launch sometime near Diwali.
