Lenovo has just launched its latest mobile called the Moto Z and Moto Z force along with world’s first project tango phone dubbed as the Phab 2 Pro.
The Moto Z is just 5.2 mm thick and sports a metal design. The Moto Z Force is slightly thicker, measuring at 7mm. It has 16 dots at the bottom rear (so called magic dots) that allows phone to transform. It can transform into portable stereo, battery power house or use it as outdoor theatre using MotoMods.
Its instaShare Projector can transform phone and can project 70-Inch Screen on to any wall. It comes built-in battery that gives up to an hour of battery life. JBL SoundBoost is specially for music enthusiasts that deliver stereo sound. It can also be used as speaker phone and gives additional 10 hours of battery. Power pack can instantly add 20 hours of battery life. It comes with wireless charging option and comes with premium design as well.
The Moto Z houses a 5.5-Inch AMOLED Display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 535ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Moto Z force has the same size display and resolution but houses additional Shatter Shield Glass for added durability.
Both the mobiles are powered by 2.2GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor and Adreno 530 GPU. They have 4GB RAM and and 32GB internal storage space and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS out of the box.
The Moto Z is equipped with with 13MP primary camera on the back with LED flash, Laser-Assistant and Phased Detection Auto Focus, OIS, F/1.8 Aperture lens and 4K video recording capabilities. The Moto Z Force houses a slightly premium 21MP primary camera (with more or less, same features). Both the mobiles are equipped with 5MP selfie snapper with Wide-Angle lens and F/2.2 Aperture.
The Lenovo Moto Z has 2600 mAh battery inside that gives about 30 hours battery and supports turbo charging as well. The Moto Z force has even longer battery life boasting capacity of 3500 mAh. It supports fast charging going up to 50% in just 20 minutes.
Both these phones support 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band with MIMO, Bluetooth, USB Type-C and GPS. Sadly, there is no 3.5mm Audio jack so users will have rely on on USB Type-C headphones. Both of them have measurements of 153.3 x 75.x 5.19 mm.
Lenovo Moto Z will be launched in US this summer. It will be available on Verizon as Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid. These phones will go on sale in September 2016.
