Lenovo, at CES 2017 event, has announced its latest ThinkPad X1 Yoga convertible laptop. It comes with improved ThinkPad Pen Pro that uses new soft elastomer tip.
The laptop has dimensions of 333 x 229 x 17.05 mm while the OLED variant has thickness of 17.4 mm. They weigh 1.42KG or 1.36KG respectively. It runs on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit OS out of the box.
The ThinkPad X1 Yoga comes in 3 display options consisting of –
- 14-inch FHD IPS display (1920 x 1080 pixels) with 270 nits
- 14-inch WQHD IPS display (2560 x 1400 pixels) with 270 nits
- 14-Inch WQHD OLED display (2560 x 1440 pixels) with 300 nits
It is powered by Intel Core 7th Gen CPU coupled with Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 and / or Intel HD Graphics 620. It supports up to 16GB LPDDR3 RAM (2133MHz for Intel Iris only). It comes in storage options of –

It has 720p HD Webcam and has option for IR camera. The battery inside offers up to 16 hours. The OLED variant is aid to give 10.5 hours of battery backup. For enhanced security, it comes with dTPM 2.0 and option for Touch Fingerprint reader.
Connectivity options include 2 x Thunder bolt 3 ports, 3 x USB 3.0, HDMI, RJ45, MicroSD and Micro SIM slot. It also supports Intel Dual-band Wireleass Ac 8265, 2 x 2 AC and Bluetooth V4.2. There an option for NFC as well.
The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga price starts at $1499 and comes in Silver and Black color options.
