LG has launched its latest flagship phone in Taiwan called the G5 Speed. It bears model number LG-H858 and is priced at TWD 23,900 that roughly converts to $740.
It is the same phone as its current flagship, the LG G5, largely known in global markets. The G5 Speed is currently exclusive to Chunghwa Telecom and comes with Fingerprint sensor as well.
In terms of specifications, it measures 149.4 x 73.9 x 7.3 mm, weighs 159 grams and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. It has 5.3-Inch IPS in-cell display with sapphire crystal glass, sports 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and 554ppi pixel density. It also comes with 3D Arc glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for scratch resistance.
The LG G5 Speed features 2.1GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 GPU, 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space, further expandable up to 200GB using MicroSD cards.
The smartphone houses 8MP selfie camera coupled with 16MP + 8MP dual rear cameras. Primary camera features include Laser Auto Focus, Dual-tone Flash, F/1.8 Aperture (F/2.0 Aperture in secondary camera), OIS 2.0, Color Spectrum Analyzers, Double Gesture Mode, HDR+, 4K video recording etc.
The phone comes with 2800 mAh Li-Ion removable battery and supports all connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wi-Fi Direct, Dual Band, DLNA, Bluetooth V4.2, USB Type-C, GPS, NFC, FM Radio, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
