LG Electronics (LG) has announced its latest LG GX Soundbar. It has advanced features, delivers excellent sound and complements LG’s award-winning GX Gallery OLED Series TVs.
The LG GX soundbar comes with a sturdy steel stand. For further flexibility, the soundbar can be mounted on the wall directly under the TV.
It measures 15 x 144.6 x 3.2 cm (H x W x D) which is identical to width and finishing of 65-inch LG GX Gallery Series TV. The soundbar ads spatial value and harmoniously fit within a given space.
The soundbar is Hi-Res Audio certified and offers lossless playback at 24bit/96kHz with greater vibrancy and nuance. It allows up-converting conventional audio formats and produces natural sound when playing High Resolution audio.
It has built-in LG AI Sound Pro feature which analyzes and automatically applies the best sound settings regardless of the content, ensuring the best listening experience.
The LG GX Soundbar features in Dolby Atmos and DTX:S for 3D audio experience. It is also compatible with Dolby Vision via 4K pass-through. It also includes a subwoofer which connects wireless to soundbar to deliver low-frequency bass. LG’s wireless rear speaker kit (SPK8 – sold separately) delivers additional power and immersion.
The soundbar has easy connectivity options including enhanced audio return channel (eARC) and Bluetooth. The eARC offers full richness of high-res audio formats like Dolby True HD and DTS Master Audio thanks to its higher bandwidth. Bluetooth facilitates effortless ultra quality streaming from smartphone or tablet.
The LG GX Soundbar will roll out in Europe, North America and Asia in July itself. It will cost $1300 in US and will be available from July 20th.
