LG Electronics expands its Minibeam lineup of ultra short-throw projectors with the announcement of PH450U and PH150G. Both the Minibeam projectors will be showcased at IFA 2016 held at Berlin.
Both the latest projectors supports screen sharing capabilities with Miracast and wireless display. Both the models are equipped with LG’s triple wire-free connectivity. They have built-in wireless mirroring function and easily connect with most smartphones or tablets. Moreover, they come bundled with built-in speakers, allowing users to stream sound directly. It also supports Bluetooth compatible sound systems like Home audio speakers, portable speakers, headphones etc. Both the projector batteries are long lasting and rechargeable.
The PH450U, one of the brightest battery-powered projector, is equipped with up to 450 lumens. It can display a sharp 8-Inch 720p image from distance of just 13 inches. It can render images on any flash, horizontal surfaces like desks, tales, floors etc. Users can easily transfer content directly to the projector using HDMI cable with MHL or USB drive. ThePH450U weighs about 2.4 pounds and includes a rechargeable battery that gives 2.5 hours of battery life.
The LG PH150G projector sports a sleek design. It is extremely portable and light weigh, weighing just 1.1 pounds. It offers up to 130 lumens of brightness and up to 100-inch screen in clear 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. It has 2.5-hour build in rechargeable battery.
The LG PH450U (with TV Tuner) will be priced $649.99 and will be available in September from BestBuy, followed by other retailers in October (PH450UG Model without TV Tuner). The LG PH150G will cost US$ 349.99 and start retailing in October in the US.
