LG Electronics has unveiled re-branded version of last years G7 Fit called the LG Q9. It has rear facing fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with LG UX.
The phone has dimensions of 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm and has weight of 159 grams. It is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance and complies with MIL-STD 810G durability standards.
The LG Q9 specs include 6.1-inch FullVision display with 3120 x 1440 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio and multi-touch support. Under the hood is quad-core Snapdragon 821 Mobile Platform with Adreno 530 GPU.
It has 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, 64GB ROM and supports further expansion up to 2TB using MicroSD card. An 8MP shooter with 80-degree wide angle lens and F/1.9 Aperture is placed at the front. At the back side is a single 16MP shooter with LED Flash, F/2.2 Aperture and 76-degree wide-angle lens.
The LG Q9 features in a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging support. The mobile also comes with 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Boombox speakers.
Connectivity wise, it has 4G LTE, Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0 LE, NFC, GPS, USB type-C 3.1, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The LG Q9 price in South Korea is 499,400 Korean Won (US$ 445 / Rs. 31,120 approx.) and comes in New Aurora Black, New Moroccan Blue and Carmine Red colors. It will go on sale from January 11th.
