LG Electronics (LG) has started rolling out its UltraGear 27GN950 gaming monitor in key markets of Europe, North America, Asia and other regions. It was first unveiled at CES 2020 and has won 2020 CES Innovation Award and Red Dot Design award.
The LG 27GN950 is first monitor to sport a new “wings” emblem designed specifically with victory in gaming in mind. It has advanced IPS display and achieves stunning speed without compromising on picture.
It has 27-inch Nano IPS display which offers 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K UHD) resolution. The screen delivers 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms GTG response time, 98% DCI-P3 color gamut and 400nits (typ) brightness.
LG 27GN950 monitor also supports hardware calibration which allows Nano IPS display to offer more accurate color reproduction. It also comes with VESA DisplayHDR 600 certification which guarantees a certain level of quality in the from of outstanding color accuracy, dynamic contrast, high luminance and wide color gamut.
There is support for NVIDIA G-SYNC and HDR for enhanced image quality, reduced screen tearing and minimized stutter which works seamlessly with VESA DSC. It also comes with stand which allows adjustment of height, tilt or pivot.
