Meizu has announced its latest 4G smartphone in China called the M3s (also known as Charm Blue 3s). It has uni-body metal design and houses mTouch 2.1 fingerprint sensor embedded on the home button.
The phone sports a 5-Inch 2.5D curved glass display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch. It is powered by (1.5GHz x 4 + 1GHz x 4) Octa Core MediaTek MT6750 processor with Mali-T860 GPU.
It comes in 2GB LPDDR RAM with 16GB eMMC 5.0 storage and 3GB LPDDR3 RAM with 32GB eMMC 5.0 storage option. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB using MicroSD cards.
The Meizu M3s specs include hybrid dual nano SIM slots of which second slot can be doubles for MicroSD Card. It is an Android Smartphone running on 5.1 Lollipop OS based FlyMe OS 5.1.
The mobile phone measures 141.9 x 69.9 x 8.3 mm, weighs 138 Grams and features 3020 mAh built-in battery inside. It has 5MP selfie camera with 4P lens and F/2.0 aperture. On the back side is a 13MP snapper equipped with F/2.2 aperture, 5P lens, PDAF (focus in 0.2 seconds) and dual-tone LED Flash.
The handset supports 4G with VoLTE along with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.0, GPS/GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio Jack etc.
The Meizu M3s is priced at 699 Yuan (US$ 106 / €94) for the 2GB RAM / 16GB storage variant. The 3GB RAM / 32GB storage model is priced slightly higher at 899 Yuan (US$ 136 / €120). Both the variants will come in Grey, Silver, Gold and Pink colour options and are up for registrations at company’s official store. It will go on sale from June 17, 2016. Global roll out details were not revealed.
