Chinese phone maker Meizu has announced its latest smartphone called the MX6. The flagship was announced at a dedicated event in China.
The phone packs in a 5.5-Inch LCD display (Sharp TDDI) with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It has 1500:1 contrast ratio, 85% NTSC color gamut and supports multi-touch.
Inside is Deca Core 2.3GHz MediaTek Helio X20 64-bit processor with ARM Mali-T880 GPU. The Meizu MX6 Specs include 4GB RAM and 32GB Storage ROM and 3600mAh fast charging battery. The battery supports mCharge that charges mobile up to 65% in just 30 minutes, it fully charges up in 75 minutes using a 24W fast charger.
The mobile has full metal body with dimensions of 153.6 x 75.2 x 7.25 mm and weighs 155 grams. It has mTouch 2.1 fingerprint recognition technology that supports Alipay and WeChat. The mobile unlocks the phone in just 0.2 seconds.
The smartphone features 12MP main camera on the back with Sony IMX386 sensor, 6P lens, 1.25 μm pixel size, F/2.0 aperture, PDAF, LED flash and supports 4K video recording as well. On the front is 5MP secondary camera for selfies with F/2.0 aperture.
The headset runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Flyme OS 5.2. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G LTE with VoLTE. Other connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, WI-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1 LE, GPS, USB Type-C etc.
The Meizu MX6 is priced at 1999 Yuan (US$298). Its Life Jack protective cover costs 79 Yuan (US$12). The mobile is already up for order in China and comes in Silver, Gold, Gray and Pink color options.
