Micromax expands its Canvas series with its latest smartphone called Canvas Infinity. Specification’s of the handset are more or less the same as Micromax HS2, which we spotted in benchmarks.
The Micromax Canvas Infinity specs include 5.7-inch multi-touch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It has 1440 x 720 pixels resolution at 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone has minimal bezels, boasting an 83% screen-to-body ratio.
The handset is equipped with 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 GPU. It has 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card (has dedicated slot).
The Canvas Infinity features in Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS and is upgradable to Android 8.0 Oreo in future. It has 2900 mAH (minimum) / 2980 mAh (typical) battery that offers up to 20 hours of talk time, up to 6 hours of video playback and about 420 hours of standby.
The cell phone comes with fingerprint sensor at the back for added security. There is a 13MP primary shooter at the back as well with LED Flash. It has F/2.0 Aperture, 1.12µm pixel size, 5P lens, 81.5-degree FOV and allows 1080p video recording.
On the front side is a decent 16MP selfie camera. It has F/2.0 Aperture, 81.5-degree FOV Lens, LED Flash and allows 1080p video recording.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.1, GPS, USB OTG etc.
The Micromax Canvas Infinity price is set at Rs. 9,999 (US$ 156 approx.) and comes in Black color. The mobile will be available online exclusively at Amazon.in from September 1, 2017. Registrations have already commenced.
