Micromax has just launched Selfie 3 (E460) smartphone in India. It is successor to Selfie 2 which was introduced back in July.
The smartphone packs in Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE in India. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. On the back side is a fingerprint sensor for added security.
The Micromax Selfie 3 specs include 5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved Glass. It has 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and supports multi-touch.
Internals make up of 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform SoC with Adreno 505 GPU. It has 3GB DDR3 RAM and 32GB internal storage. There is a MicroSD card slot as well for further expansion.
The Selfie 3, as the name suggests, is a selfie focused smartphone. It has a 16MP front facing camera with Samsung sensor and LED flash to capture pictures even in low lights. On the back side is 13MP auto focus camera with Sony Sensor and LED Flash. There is a unique 52MP Super Pixel mode, Portrait mode and much more.
The hardware is powered by 3000 mAh battery. It is said to offer 11 hours of talk time, 22 hours of music playback and about 250 hours of standby. Connectivity wise, it supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, GPS/A-GPS, FM Radio, MicroUSB V2.0, 3.5mm Audio jack etc.
The Micromax Selfie 3 is priced at Rs. 11,999 and comes in Blue and Black colors. It will start retailing in India from today.
