Indian phone maker Micromax just might be working on a new Android Smartphone. A handset bearing the name Micromax YU5 has surfaced at GeekBench giving some keen insights on the hardware.
The details are fairly limited though. The Micromax YU5 is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 Mobile Platform and obviously houses Adreno 506 GPU.
It has 2GB RAM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box. Talking about the scores, the Micromax YU5 managed to get 771 points on single core and 3823 points in multi-core tests.
Other specifications are scarce. Looking at the information available, the handset just might be a lower-mid range smartphone.
The YU5 is yet to be announced by Micromax. There are hardly any rumors on its pricing or release date. We will be covering all the updates as soon as we get them.
