Microsoft Xbox Project Scorpio specs revealed

Microsoft is working on next generation ‘Project Scorpio’ Xbox console, which is due for release later in 2017 Holidays.

It will be capable enough to play games at 4K resolution and will feature decently powerful specifications. Moreover, it will be compatible with Xbox One games and accessories.

The Xbox Project Scorpio features in Scorpio Engine with 6 Teraflops, 326GB/s Memory Bandwidth and advanced custom silicon.

It is also said to be first home console to feature Vapor Chamber, which uses liquid cooling to keep temperatures in control. Moreover, it will have Centrifugal Fan that rapidly pulls in and compress air for maximum cooling and minimum noise.

The Scorpio Engine is clamed to be most powerful console gaming processor ever created. The CPU consists of eight 2.3GHz x86 cores. The GPU makes up of 40 customized compute units clocked at 1172MHz.

This upcoming gaming console also boasts 12GB GDDR5 Memory and 1TB 2.5-inch Hard Driver. It will include 4K UHD Blu-Ray optical drive as well.

The Xbox Project Scorpio is expected to be unveiled at E3 Press Conference.
