Motorola has officially announced its latest ‘Moto Z Series’ smartphone in US called Moto Z4. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and 2.5D gorilla glass at the back.
The smartphone has dimensions of 158 x 75 x 7.35 mm and has weight of 165 grams. It has P2i nano-coating for splash resistance. the device runs on Android 9.0 Pie OS and houses front ported speakers and three microphones.
The Moto Z4 specifications include 6.4-inch OLED display with 2340 x 1080 pixels full HD+ resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen delivers 1000000:1 contrast ratio and supports multi-touch. The handset boasts a 85% screen-to-body ratio.
Internal hardware includes 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 675 Mobile Platform with Adreno 612 GPU. It is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB ROM, which is further expandable up to 2TB using MicroSD card.
The Motorola Z4 features in a 25MP front camera with 0.9micron pixels and F/2.0 aperture. There is a special 1.8micron quad-pixel mode for capturing 6.25MP images. Additionally, it has AI Beautification and Portrait mode.
At the back side is a single 48MP shooter with LED Flash. It has quad-pixel technology which captures 12MP photos. The shooter sports F/1.7 Aperture and supports Laser AF, PDAF and OIS.
There is a 3600 mAh battery inside which supports 15W TurboPower fast charging. The smartphone is claimed to offer about 2 days of battery life. It has pogo-pins the back for attaching Moto Mods.
Connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.0, USB Type-C, NFC, GPS/GLONASS and 3.5mm Audio Jack are supported.
The Moto Z4 price is $499.99 (Rs. 35000 approx.) (Verizon users can get it for $240 at $10/month for 24 months for a limited period) and comes in Flash Grey and Frost White colors. Its 5G Moto Mode is available at Verizon in US for $199.99. The handset is up for pre-order in US at Amazon.com, Best Buy and B&H Photo. It will start shipping from June 6th.
