Motorola has officially unveiled its latest Edge series smartphone called Motorola Edge Lite (also dubbed as Edge Lite Luxury edition). It was announced along side Edge S Pro.
It is an Android 11 powered smartphone with measurements of 163.31 x 76.05 x 6.99 mm and weighs 163 grams.It has plastic build and sports a fingerprint sensor at side. You get dual Nano SIM slots inside with 5G / Dual 4G VoLTE support.
The Motorola Edge Lite feature a 6.7-inch Flexible OLED display with HDR10+ support and 91% screen-to-body ratio. It offers 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 10-bit colors, 144Hz refresh rate, 576Hz touch sampling rate and multi-touch support.
Internal hardware makes up of octa-core Snapdragon 778G mobile platform with Adreno 642L GPU. It has 8GB LPDDR4 RAM and comes in 128GB / 256GB UFS 2.2 storage options. There is no microSD card support though.
The Motorola Edge Lite specs include triple rear cameras consisting of 108MP main with 1/1.52-inch Sensor, 2.1um pixel size at 9-in-1 super pixel, 0.7um pixels and F/1.9 Aperture. It has 16MP second rear camera with 121-degree wide-angle lens, F/2.2 Aperture, 1um pixel size and takes 2.5cm macro shots. Its 8MP third shooter has F/2.4 Aperture, 3x optical zoom, 30x digital zoom and OIS. At the front side is a 32MP shooter with F/2.25 Aperture and 0.7um pixel size.
The smartphone houses a 4020mAh battery capacity and allows 33W fast charging via USB Type-C port. Wi-Fi 6 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V5.1, USB Type-C and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou/Galileo.
The Motorola Edge Lite 8GB/128GB model price is ¥2599 ($402 / Rs. 29,800 approx.) while its 8GB/256GB variant costs ¥2899 ($449 / Rs. 33,230 approx.). The handset is already up for pre-order and will go on sale from August 17th. [source]
