NOKIA 1 Android Oreo Go Edition mobile launched in India

Just last week, Lava Z50 was introduced in India. Now, HMD Global has launched Nokia 1 Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone in India. The cell phone first unveiled at MWC 2018 which was held in February 2018.

The Nokia 1 comes with Xpress-on interchangeable polycarbonate cover. It has Dual SIM slots and supports 4G VoLTE as well. It is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition)  which is a cut down variant of original OS.

The smartphone packs in 4.5-inch IPS display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution. It is powered by an entry level  1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor and comes with 1GB RAM. It has 8GB internal memory and allows further expansion up to 128GB using MicroSD card.

The Nokia 1 specs include 2MP front facing camera with 5MP fixed focus rear shooter with LED Flash. It is powered by 2150 mAh battery which fits inside phone with dimensions of 133.6 x 67.78 x 9.5 mm.

Nokia-1-Android-Oreo-Go-Edition-image-1Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS and 3.5mm Audio jack.

The Nokia 1 price is set at Rs. 5499 (US$ 85 approx.) and comes in Dark Blue and Warm Red colors. It’s Xpress-On covers come in Azure and Grey or Yellow and Pink colors. They will be sold separately for Rs. 450.

There are several launch offers attached with the phone like Cashback offer from Jio of Rs. 2200, 60GB additional data for Jio users and 12 months accidental damage insurance by Servify on opening Kotak 811 savings account (activating with initial deposit of Rs. 100). There is a 20% discount on first ride at RedBus.
