While the Android smartphones are the next big thing, feature phones aren’t dead. HMD Global has announced two new feature phones called Nokia 220 4G and Nokia 105 (2019).
The Nokia 220 4G price is Euro 39 (US$ 44 / Rs. 3000 approx.) and comes in Blue and Black colors. It will go on sale in mid-August. The Nokia 105 (2019) price is Euro 13 (US$ 15 / Rs. 999 approx.) and will be available in August. It comes in Black, Blue and Pink colors.
Nokia 220 4G has dimensions of 121.3 x 52.9 x 13.4 mm and weighs 86.5 grams. It has support for 4G LTE with 2G fall back (sadly no 3G). It has 2.4-inch QQVGA color display with 16MB RAM, 24MB storage and runs on Feature OS. It comes with VGA camera at the back with LED Flash. A 1200 mAh battery powers the hardware which offers 6.3 hours of talk time and up to 27 days of standby. It has built-in MP3 player, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Nokia 105 (2019) is the fourth refresh. It has 1.77-inch QQVGA Color display with 160 x 120 pixels resolution. It comes in Single / Dual Mini SIM variants and supports GSM 900/1800 bands in Europe and 850/1900 MHz Bands in US. The phone measures 119 x 49.2 x 14.4 mm and has weight of 74 grams. The feature phone comes with 4MB RAM, 4MB ROM and runs on Nokia Series 30+ software platform. There is a 800mAh battery which offers 14.4 hours of talk time and 25.8 days of standby. There is a MicroUSB 2.0 port for charging and 3.5mm AV connector. FM Radio is also present.
