HMD Global has introduced a new Android One smartphone called Nokia 4.2. it was announced along with Nokia 3.2.
The device runs on vanilla Android 9.0 Pie OS. It comes in single / dual SIM options and has measurements of 148.95 x 71.30 x 8.39 mm with 161 grams weight.
The Nokia 4.2 comes with rear facing fingerprint sensor and Glass back. It has 5.71-inch a-Si 2.5D curved glass display with 1520 x 720 pixels resolution and 1520 x 720 pixels resolution.
Inside is an octa-core (1.95GHz A53 x 4 + 1.45GHz A53 x 4) Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform with Adreno 505 GPU. It has options of 2GB RAM with 16GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal memory. The mobile allows further expansion up to 400GB using MicroSD card.
The Nokia 4.2 features in 8MP single shooter with 1.12um pixel size and F/2.0 Aperture. At the back side is 13MP (F/2.2 Aperture, 1.12um pixels) + 2MP dual camera setup with LED flash.
There is a 3000mAh built-in battery which powers the hardware. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth V4.2, MicroUSB V2.0, GPS and 3.5mm Audio jack.
The Nokia 4.2 price starts at US$ 169 (Rs. 12,000 approx.) for 2GB/16GB variant and goes up to US$ 199 (Rs. 14,140 approx.) for 3GB/32GB model. The cell phone comes in Pink Sand and Black colors and will be out in April 2019.
