HMD Global has just launched its latest Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone in India. It is the same smartphone which was announced as Nokia X5 in China.
The phone packs in 5.86-inch 2.5D curved glass multi-touch display with 1520 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution at 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by octa-core (2GHz A73 x 4 + 2GHz A53 x 4) MediaTek Helio P60 processor with Mali-G72 MP3 (800MHz) GPU.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus specs include 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage space and allows further expansion up to 400GB using MicroSD card. The smartphone is powered by Android 8.1 Oreo OS and is upgradable to Android P in future.
The cell phone features in an 8MP selfie shooter with 80.4-degree wide-angle lens and F/2.2 Aperture. At the back side is 13MP (F/2.0 Aperture, PDAF) + 5MP dual cameras with LED Flash.
The hardware is powered by 3060 mAh (typical) / 3000 mAh (minimum) battery. The mobile has dimensions of 149.51 x 71.98 x 8.096 mm and weighs 160 grams. It has Hybrid Dual SIM slots (Nano + Nano / MicroSD) and supports dual 4G VoLTE.
The mobile phone comes with rear facing fingerprint sensor. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.2, USB Type-C, GPS, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes in White, Black and Blue colors. It will be available in India next month in September at Flipkart and Nokia’s official site. Pricing will be announced close to availability.
